Beckford Group Captain
Dan Brod heads up Beckford Group which specialises in West Country pubs with rooms including the Beckford Arms, The Talbot Inn, The Bath Arms and The Lord Poulett Arms. Beckford are also currently developing two small hotels. Dan is passionate believer in the value of genuine hospitality and that small is beautiful.

Jonathan has a diverse and extensive background in the leisure, travel, and education sectors. He has held various director-level positions, demonstrating his leadership and management skills. Notable accomplishments include:

Founded Wild Luxury in 2010, one of the original UK glamping companies and led it to become a highly successful and award-winning business.

Owner operator of Magazine Wood and Anna’s house, small boutique hotels on the North Norfolk Coast.

Served as Group Development Director for Education Travel Group, focusing on strategic growth and development.

Edmund Inkin
Owner, Eat Drink Sleep
Edmund Inkin was brought up in Wales in a family for whom good food, hospitality and regular trips to Cornwall were a way of life. During his twenties Edmund worked at a London bank until receiving his P45 in 2001. After this he joined forces with his brother Charles, together they run The Felin Fach Griffin, The Gurnard's Head and The Old Coastguard through their company EATDRINKSLEEP and he has been able to reignite his love for food and wine. All three sites adhere to the brothers' uncompromising belief in "the simple things in life done well".
Hari Fell
Owner, Tudor Farmhouse Hotel
Hari Fell owns and runs the Tudor Farmhouse in the Forest of Dean with her husband, Colin. They have owned the 20 bedroom boutique hotel since 2003. With three red AA stars and two AA rosettes, they are proud of their reputation for great food, comfy bedrooms and exemplary service. In 2023, Hari started NoLo Cocktails and Bars, which specialises in non alcoholic cocktails and drinks.
Adrian Burley
Group Marketing & Commercial Director, Luxury Hotel Management
Adrian has over 25 years’ experience in the premium international and domestic hospitality sector. Specialising in the branding and positioning of luxury hotels and resorts; key areas of expertise include Strategic Marketing, Public Relations, International Sales, Distribution, Revenue Management, Reservations and Systems (implementation and integration). Adrian has a degree in International Tourism Management and started his career as Head of Marketing for luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent. He then spent several years as the Regional Marketing Manager for Indian Ocean resort operator, Constance Hotels. In 2009, Adrian launched Martinhal Resort in Sagres, Portugal, before working with his partners to acquire the Luxury Family Hotels portfolio in partnership with private equity backers. Since then, Adrian has played a key role in increasing the turnover and profitability of the Luxury Hotel Management portfolio of hotels and resorts.
Zoe Monk
Senior Editor, Boutique Hotelier
Zoe has been at the helm of industry bible, Boutique Hotelier, for nine years and this year the title
celebrates its 10 th anniversary. For a decade, the magazine, daily e-news alert and website have been
a vital source of UK hospitality news, covering big name interviews, hotel openings, acquisitions and
the movers and shakers of the sector.
Zoe loves nothing more than getting out and about in the industry, visiting properties (hard hat tours
are a particular favourite) and meeting inspirational hospitality entrepreneurs, listening to stories of
business success and innovative thinking. She also regularly presents interesting panel debates,
roundtable discussions and is a judge for the Independent Hotel Show Awards.
Jonathan Walker
Director, Bishopstrow
Jonathan brings a diverse hospitality experience to the advisory board in both corporate and independent businesses across the UK, including hotels in Edinburgh, London, Heathrow, and more recently the South -West.
Experience includes new hotel openings, general management, food and beverage corporate leadership, and multi-site management, with a proven track record in increasing both revenues and profitability.
Jonathan has an MSc in Tourism and Hospitality, and over the last eight years has invested in and opened No15 Great Pulteney in Bath, and re-opened and re-positioned Bishopstrow in Wiltshire.
